The solid wood or veneered profiles are delivered as fully finished profiles, along with all necessary parts and materials (except for the glass and hardware). The same applies to V-Isolux either insulation skinned or aluminium clad. This means that the normal precautionary, capital binding stock is not required. This creates the most economical and error free manufacturing process indefinitely assured.
That means
  • No offcuts and no cut outs
  • No complex preparation work
  • Optional calcualtion and scheduling according to the contract and standard material list
  • The material list can also act as price calculation for a quick sales price

PRODUCTION SEQUENCE

Wood and also insulated profiles
  • Wood or insulated profile mitre cut to length
  • Dovetail router slots for Hoffmann Keys and dowel holes drilledApply glue to the mitred faces and insert the dowels
  • Lay the parts together and insert the Hoffmann Keys (2 or 3 keys and 2 dowels)
  • Insert the rubber seals
  • Attach the insulation skin (or on Wood/Alu attach the retaining clips) to the frame amd sash


Wood/Alu system
  • Aluminium profile mitre cut to length
  • Joint with a mechanical fixing (e.g. by crimping)
  • Cut the drain holes (dependant on the system)
  • Clip together

Following the frame and sash assembly
  • Drill for the hinges and assemble
  • Insert the glass
  • Attach the aluminium frame
  • Complete

The connecting joints on post and beam construction / curtain walling are made along similar lines.
