System Security

for the complete Facade Structure

Energieeffizienz
The system security for all Schweikart Venstersysteme products has been independently analysed and assessed by numerous testing laboratories and building institutions and has been definitively approved. Not only is the stability and durability of the mitre joint assured, but also the absolute tightness of the joints which prevents the ingress of moisture, especially in curtain wall construction.

Experience tells us that mitred joints in frames and sashes, conclusively drawn together with Hoffmann Keys, are no longer visually compared with traditional finger jointing or mortice and tenon joints. Additional to the strength of the joint is the sensitive question of weather durability and damage from UV radiation. Tests were made by a prominent technical specialist institution and were certified to the relevant standards. These tests were also carried out on single element doors and the results were also certified for these building elements. The application of the Hoffmann Key as a jointing agent in cruciform joints, as applied in curtain walling (especially in load-bearing components in wooden constructions and houses) has been tested and found to exceed the current building regulations requirements. This approval is valid for curtain walling where the profile width exceeds 50 mm in width. This offers proven joint security in every aspect. Schweikart Venstersysteme, as the system supplier, offers you full documentation and further information regarding the specifications and approvals which relate to the current building regulations. We would be pleased to make these available upon request.
